At that time the number of the orphans, fatherless, motherlass  children was 11,for nowadays this number increased to 53 children, who are all subsidized. Our main results reflect in the success of our children.

Between our aims first of all we have to mention the cration of equal chances for disadvantageous, handicapped, problematic children. Further/In addition/ to solve partly or totally the problem of shuttling in case of families suffering fom and fighting against poverty.

The first ten years

When on the 30.9.2012  I looked on the children dressed both in body and in  soul in their best how touched they received their guests, I tried to guess what they actually felt in those moments?

Around them were those, who through long years came very close to them. May be they did not understand each sentence addressed to them, but they could be convinced again about the very fact, namely how many people liked them. The late of blessed memory d.dr Kálmán Csiha Transyllvanian bishop who had helped a lot to Károly Molnár and his wife Eszter Molnár in the foundation/realization of the Emmaus Home,he sanctified the home on 6.10.2002. With his blessing and with having taken 12 children from the state owned orphan’s home of Marosludas approximately with a string of children did the service start there. At present 5o children are growing in above home, but the number of the subsidized is increasing with those 12 local children, who are also helped in solving their problems.

The aims of the guiding of the Emmaus Home are noble: give a helping hand to the family members/to their children/ of the surroundings who are wrestling with difficulties giving, school and educational help for them, handing over the Christian scale of values, bring them up to be responsible individuals, organising substantial vacational programmes, paying attention/taking care of/ to their health and physical and spiritual/mental/ medical treatment.

At the festive, opening church service it was Mr/Dr Botond Gundor, dean of the Presbyterian diocese of Enyed, who had preached. The text of the sermon was from the gospel of Mark 1O/13-16. At that time small children were taken to him to touch them but the disciples rebuked them. When it was noticed by Jesus,he grew angry and said as follows: Allow the small children to come to me and do not inhibit them from me,as the Kingdom of God is for them. I  certainly say to you, that those who do not accept the Kingdom of God as a small child,he or she will not get in by no means. At this moment he embraced them and having put his hand on them,he blessed them.

In the same way were the 5o children living in the home and in addition those as well, who were once upon a time also brought up and subsidized by the  Emmasu Home blessed by Mr/Dr Dezső Bustya, retired former secondary bishop.

The delegate of the Congregate of Buda had taken  all the good wishes and presents of the gathering with which had been handed over in a festive envelope, which were summarized and signed by some 200 persons. There were some people, who wrote 1-1 words of encouragement or a hopeful Word  on the letter in addition to the official common greetings.

The school year 2013-2014

Landmark in the life of the  Emmanus children as many of them stood/were/ before the choice of career. The only one secondary grammar school of Hungarian language of Ludas and the Roumanian specialized secondary schools were not suitable/appropriate/ for the children either from the point of view of variety or regarding the requirements. The study results/both in the region of Bogát and Ludas proved to be inadequate/not enough/,though the results qualify not only the students but the pedagogues as well. Finally together with the parents of the children we decide that those students, who grappled with writing and reading difficulties,,those were directed to as special inclusive education. Therefore as a result of quite a long investigations we suceeded in/with the help of analysing the papers/documents/ and with the help of learning-medical,logopedagogic,psychologic assistance per children  from September 2013 we succeeded in having put 13 children to a special education/school/ in Targu Mures.. The older children  were put in schools for trade, car repair, hairdresser, and for architectural special secondary schools. The smaller ones, being sisters and brothers insisted not to be seperated from each other/from the elder ones/ therefore we suceeded  in putting most of the children near Targu Mures into schools. It was our home, which took care of the children at Targu Mures, which we could with the help of God put into a habitable state under simple circumstances until school begin.

The results are unambigous,we have not even one child who had to repeat a year’s work. Even our inclusive school children could close up,they can already write and read,as their teachers here had looked after them in order to their development and closing up.

Regarding the sport activities, the variety had widened namely with soccer/football/, basket ball, above all there was a need for wrestling. The trainings and the competitions had brought several successes and travelling for the children’s programmes: Korond,Radnót,Ludas,Brasso/Brasov/ Szászsrégen,Mangália were the hosts of the competitions. The number of the certificates also grew and grew.

DSC_0220

Our contacts to Hungary became stronger  with the Presbyterian congregation of Buda from where Ms.Fanni Luzsicza often came for service as a volunteer, who as a photographer, designer student had arranged a photo exhibition as well. Namely on Fig Sunday in 2014 in the big hall of the Congregation of Buda about the Emmaus children. For the opening ceremony a group of 12 persons went from the Emmaus Home, who had performed   Ludas Matyi by Mihály Fazekas for the children celebrating Fig Sunday and the  foundation of the church. Both the gathering of Buda and the gathering of Pasarét cared about Budapest programmes and experiences for us, for whom it is not possible for us to express our thanks in words here.

DSC_0620

Our Katinka had finished her studies as biochemist in Ludas, this year, whose parade as of graduating student has been celebrated in Bogát. 2 of our students had finished his studies as car repairs  Csaba Puskás and István Kocsis.

Our  primary efforts are that the children should due to their talents and abilities get the best possible education as a result of which their independence,self-supporting could be realized with the help of God..

Our until now educated children accepted responsibility both professionally and in the family as well, which is a satisfaction for both the working panel of the home and of the sponsors as well and further it is proved that the prays have been listened to.

Religious life in Kissármás

The Missionary/Mission/ Congregation founded in 1962 looks backwards from a certain distance of 52 years of the past of the church and church ground given by the  blessed memory Mária Bánffy. Many pastors had changed each other. The mostly/mainly/ settled followers happened to find not only flats but their hjomes here as well. At the same tiome this place gave mental and spiritual home for the Emmaus children, where they are welcome by the congregation.

DSC_0751

Kissármás/Sarmasel/ is an open country village,55 km far from Targu Mures, in the neighborhood of Nagysármás. The village came into being in the second half of the 19th century,as a result of having built the new railway line. The inhabitant of the village is gathered by those working men/workers/,who had settled here because of the railway working possibilities

The congregation of Kissármás was the fragment of Tuson for quite a long time. In 1938 Mária Bánffy, baroness had donated a piece of ground to the followers to build a church there. They planned a church made of wood/wood church/ and they had obtained the necessary wood material, but the church building had failed to come about as the men were taken to the war as soldiers.

In 1947 the walls of the church were built by mud afterwards the present church was built between 1953-1962 under the guidance of senior János Hermán,pastor of Nagysármás. For the tower and for  the roof of the church they had used the wood material of the bell. carriage set in the court of Mária Bánffy in 1934.

IMG_7450-j

Between  1953-1981 the congregation of Kissármás was a fragment belonging to Nagysármás. In 1981 the Kissármás Congregation came into existance as an independent gathering. To the gathering of a population of 156 inhabitants further 7 fragments belonged to Nagycég, 40 souls, Mezőkirályfalva 17 souls, Mezőszilvás 17 souls, Budatelke,15 souls, Mezőszentmárton,12 souls, Kiscég,87 souls, and Kisnyulas 2 souls. The total number of inhabitants of the therefore having come to existance was 267.

In 30 years the number of the inhabitants decreased remarkably, the gatherings became too old, in some fragments the Presbyterian followers  had died. To the village of originally consisting  of 8 missionary gatherings,at present belong 3 villages, only,as in the  other fragments do not live Presbyterian followers any more. In Budatelek the last Presbyterian church member had died in the beginning of 2012. In Kisnyulas there is no living Presbyterian church member any more either, but one bell of nice ringing from 1908 remained which has been wrongfully misappropriate by Orthodox followers, but we do hope that the bell with Hungarian text. will sometime be again in Presbyterian ownership.

DSC_0723

In 2006 during the guardianship of Ferenc Varga the Presbytery of the gathering had sold  the priestly flat/with 14 area interior space/. They had bought a railway house without any piece of ground instead. The explanation for that was, that it is much closer to the church. It is not possible to put any ground to the railway house,as the previous owner did not issue a writ to his name and therefore it was not possible to conclude an official contract with him.

Jesus says: „ There should not be any restlessness in your hearts,   believe in God and believe in me” May be that because of the future of our gatherings and church restlessness and fear is in our hearts as either the world or our country could not overcome the economic crises, yet.

We do believe and do trust that the future of the church  will not be determined by the money  not the safe and calculable public finance but rather by the commenting force of the gathering and the number of its members increasing from 70 both in their belief and number as well.

DSC_0736

We can  see that Jesus Christ our Lord  invited us several times and at several occasions,he offered himself at the preachings and at the sancty of the Lord’s Supper in order to either no restlessness , no fear or no anxiety should rule our hearts  and thoughts.

Jesus is at present at his Church and I believe and I experience his presence in our gathering as well. He is active and working in us. He is building our gatherings in our community gatherings in smaller and bigger groups.
